Lockton Performance – Additional Prize Terms (Porsche Club GB Competition)

  1. These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply only to the additional prize made available by Lockton Companies LLP (trading via “Lockton Performance”) in connection with the Porsche Club Great Britain prize competition identified on the Porsche Club Great Britain website (the “Competition”).
  2. Porsche Club Great Britain is the promoter of the Competition, and the Competition is governed by Porsche Club Great Britain’s terms and conditions. These Terms do not govern entry to, or administration of, the Competition.
  3. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Competition terms, the Competition terms shall prevail in relation to the Competition, and these Terms shall apply only to the Lockton Additional Prize.
  4. Definitions

4.1 “Lockton Additional Prize” means the insurance premium credit described in clause 5.

4.2 “Prize Vehicle” means the Porsche vehicle awarded to the winner as the main prize under the Competition (if a vehicle is awarded).

4.3 “Redemption” means the process by which the winner contacts Lockton Performance to arrange insurance and apply the credit.

  1. Eligibility

5.1 The Lockton Additional Prize is available only to the valid winner of the Competition (as determined by Porsche Club Great Britain in accordance with the Competition terms).

5.2 Employees (including partners) of Lockton Companies LLP are not eligible to receive the Lockton Additional Prize.

5.3 If an ineligible person is the winner of the Competition, the Lockton Additional Prize will be forfeited and will not be awarded (but this will not affect the winner’s entitlement to the main prize under the Competition terms).

  1. Acceptance of these Terms

6.1 The Lockton Additional Prize is conditional upon the winner accepting these Terms at the point of Redemption.

6.2 If the winner does not accept these Terms, the winner will forfeit the Lockton Additional Prize (but this will not affect the winner’s entitlement to the main prize under the Competition terms).

  1. The Lockton Additional Prize

7.1 The winner will receive up to five hundred pounds (£500) as a credit to be applied against the premium for an annual motor insurance policy arranged through Lockton Performance in respect of the Prize Vehicle.

7.2 The credit will be applied as follows:

    (a) If the winner is a new Lockton Performance customer, the credit will be applied as a reduction to the premium payable for the relevant policy, up to a maximum value of £500.

    (b) If the winner is an existing Lockton Performance customer, the credit may be applied to the winner’s account and used against the premium for the relevant policy and/or future premiums, up to a maximum value of £500.

7.3 “Up to £500” means that the credit will not exceed £500 and will not exceed the premium amount payable for the relevant policy. No unused balance will be payable in cash.

7.4 The Lockton Additional Prize is not a cash prize, and no cash, refund or other alternative will be offered.

7.5 If the relevant policy is cancelled, voided, or otherwise terminated for any reason, no part of the Lockton Additional Prize (including any unused credit) will become payable in cash or by way of refund.

  1. The Lockton Additional Prize is subject to Lockton Performance’s standard underwriting criteria and the acceptance of the relevant policy terms.
  2. If the winner is unable to obtain insurance through Lockton Performance for any reason (including where cover is declined or the winner chooses not to proceed), the Lockton Additional Prize will be forfeited and no alternative prize will be provided.
  3. Prize Vehicle Requirement

10.1 The Lockton Additional Prize is offered only where the Competition prize includes a vehicle.

10.2 If the Prize Vehicle is not awarded (including where the Competition prize is substituted for a cash alternative), the Lockton Additional Prize will not be available.

  1. Redemption

11.1 Porsche Club Great Britain will provide the winner with Lockton Performance contact details following notification of the winner under the Competition terms.

11.2 The winner must contact Lockton Performance to begin Redemption within 12 months of being notified as the winner of the Competition. If the winner does not do so, the Lockton Additional Prize will be forfeited.

11.3 Lockton Performance will work with the winner (and, where relevant, the Porsche Club Great Britain team) to align cover to commence from the date of collection of the Prize Vehicle.

  1. Restrictions

12.1 The Lockton Additional Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and may only be used by the Competition winner.

12.2 The Lockton Additional Prize may only be applied in connection with insurance arranged through Lockton Performance for the Prize Vehicle, subject to these Terms.

  1. Data Protection

13.1 Lockton Companies LLP will process personal data only if and when the winner contacts Lockton Performance to redeem the Lockton Additional Prize, in accordance with Lockton’s privacy notice.

13.2 Porsche Club Great Britain’s processing of personal data for the purposes of administering the Competition is governed by the Competition terms and Porsche Club Great Britain’s privacy information.

  1. Limitation of liability

14.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, Lockton Companies LLP, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Lockton Additional Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Lockton Companies LLP, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

14.2 For the avoidance of doubt, Lockton Companies LLP is not responsible for the operation of the Competition or the awarding/fulfilment of the main Competition prize.

  1. General

15.1 Lockton Companies LLP reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Lockton Additional Prize where it becomes necessary to do so (including for legal, regulatory or operational reasons), provided that any such change will not affect a winner who has already validly redeemed the Lockton Additional Prize.

15.2 These Terms are governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15.3 The provider of the Lockton Additional Prize is Lockton Companies LLP of The St Botolph Building, 138 Houndsditch, London EC3A 7AG.
